Your data, plainly.

This Privacy Policy explains how Ez2.Rent (“we,” “us”) handles information when you use our website and listing tool (the “Service”). For privacy questions, contact privacy@ez2.rent.

We collect only what we need to run the Service:

• Account information — your email address and authentication details when you sign up.
• Listing content — the property details you enter and the listing copy generated for you.
• Payment information — when you buy a premium listing, our payment provider (Stripe) processes your card. We receive confirmation and limited details; we never receive or store your full card number.
• Usage and device data — basic analytics events (for example, a listing was generated or an account was created) and standard log data such as IP address and browser type, used to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

We do not collect Social Security numbers, credit scores, or background-check information, and the Service is not designed to process that kind of data.

• To provide the Service — generate listings, save them to your account, and deliver what you paid for.
• To send essential email — a welcome message and transactional notices. We don't send marketing email without your consent.
• To secure the Service — detect abuse, enforce rate limits, and prevent fraud.
• To improve the Service — understand which features are used, in aggregate.
• To comply with law — meet legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

We process your information to perform our contract with you, to pursue our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, and to comply with legal obligations.

To generate listing copy, the property details you enter are sent to a third-party AI provider that returns the draft text. We instruct our providers not to use data sent through their API to train their models, consistent with their standard API terms. Avoid entering sensitive personal information into the property fields — they are meant for property facts, not personal data.

We share information only with vendors that help us run the Service, under agreements that limit their use of it. These currently include:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and hosting of your account and listings.
• Stripe — payment processing for premium listings.
• Our AI provider — generating listing text from your inputs.
• Resend — sending transactional email.
• Analytics and hosting providers — operating and measuring the Service.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We keep your account and listings while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain records (for example, payment records) to meet legal, accounting, or security obligations.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email privacy@ez2.rent. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them. You can also request account deletion at any time, which removes your listings as described above.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures — encryption in transit, access controls, and database row-level security — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Service is for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We operate in the United States; if you use the Service from elsewhere, your information will be processed in the U.S. We may update this Policy; material changes take effect when posted, and the “last updated” date will change. Your continued use means you accept the updated Policy.
